QUICK AND EASY TO INSTALL

Installation of the Model 170 takes less than 2 hours. The door can be welded to the jamb or mounted to the wall by the convenient tabs that are attached to the side frames.

VIRTUALLY INDESTRUCTIBLE DOOR PANEL

The chemical, weather and puncture resistant door blade material is tough. Constructed of a double layer of woven polyester monofilament coated and impregnated with PVC, it is not seamed, spliced or joined.

The fabric g-i-v-e-s on contact and restores itself immediately. Available in two popular colors (blue and orange), the easy to clean fabric is guaranteed for one full year.

LOW PROFILE HEAVY-DUTY SIDE FAMES

The side frames are constructed of a primed and painted heavy-duty hot rolled steel angle as base, with covers of 14 gauge hot-dipped galvanized steel. There are no rollers, bearings or pulleys in the side frames. The easy to remove covers are low profile and won't corrode or rust.

WEATHER TIGHT SEALS

The Model 170 includes a top door jamb seal and seals in the side frames. These super tight seals control air flow, humidity and temperature and never need adjusting.

COUNTERBALANCE SYSTEM

The Model 170 is counterbalanced with an adjustable high cycle torsion spring to provide fast and easy lifting in the manual mode. It requires no lubrication and is simple to maintain.

DURABLE BOTTOM BEAM

The rigid, low profile bottom beam is constructed of primed and painted steel angle with fabric secured by a hot rolled steel bar. Breaks away on impact. The bottom edge is constructed of EDPM rubber profile with a weatherproof yellow polyester woven PVC impregnated material. This provides a weather tight seal in the most uneven surfaces. The bottom edge releases on impact and resets in minutes.

MONEY SAVING OPERATOR

The Model 170 features a high quality direct drive chain hoist exclusively designed by Albany International for this fabric door. The door can be easily raised or lowered and can be locked into any position.

LOCK DOWN DEVICE

The bottom bar assembly includes an automatic lock down device which secures the door in a closed position. When opening is desired, it is easily removed by hand or foot.
